I did what when?

The other morning my wife was accusing me of beating her–during my sleep. She said that on that particular night I had been sleeping aggitatedly and I keep flinging my right arm over and whaking her with it. I saw no bruising so there is no evidence to support her claim. I don’t remember doing any such thing so I think she is making it all up.

I dont think I can be held responsible for stuff that happens while I am in REM sleep. She feels otherwise. There clearly are conflicts of interests on both sides.

So what would this be called? sleep attacking? sleep beating? sleep assault and battery?

Solution?: She could wear padding?

Opinions?

Clearly, it should be called “sleep-whacking”.
