Book part Trois

The book was proofed and the process was marvelous since Gina was unbelievable at finding small problems. It turns out that the vast majority of issues were the same small things. Such as placing a space after an ellipsis, or not capitalizing Dad when appropriate. The punctuation around a complex conversation and particularly when the heroine is asking herself a series of questions was particularly useful.

I actually wrote out a dedication page (if only Dad was still here!) An acknowledgements page, an ‘about the author’ page. I then created the cover using photoshop (great software). With the access to public domain photos, I was able to find a picture of the actual location the novel takes place ( New Zealand) ergo the name: Murder Down Under. During the writing I had researched the area and used actual locations so the cover has the exact chapel at the lake in which a very important scene occurs.

I needed the silhouette of a young woman and used my youngest daughter Allie (she is tickled).

I have included the cover.

More later as it happens.
